FCT awards 5 Ph.D. Grants in the 2022 Call for Ph.D. Research Scholarships to students hosted by the UCILeR

The Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) final result of the 2022 Call for Ph.D. Research Scholarships were announced on October 21. A total of 1451 Ph.D. Research Scholarships were proposed for funding. In the Law Scientific Panel, 19 Ph.D. Research Scholarships were recommended for funding, among which five were awarded to students whose host scientific institution is the University of Coimbra Institute for Legal Research (UCILeR).

The projects of the students André Fagundes, Eduardo António da Silva Figueiredo, Juliana da Silva Ribeiro Gomes Chediek, Maria João Marques Paixão, and Niedja de Andrade e Silva Forte dos Santos were recommended for funding.

The next Call for Ph.D. Research Scholarships in all scientific domains will be announced in early 2023. The UCILeR is available to host students and researchers who wish to develop their research, with the UCILeR as a host institution.
