EU-CIEMBLY project meets Volt candidate for European Parliament

On 6 June 2024, the EU-CIEMBLY project team met with the Volt candidate for the European Parliament, with the aim of informing and exchanging views on the objectives and activities of this project funded by Horizon Europe.

EU-CIEMBLY, coordinated by researcher Dulce Lopes, aims to design a new tool for participation in the EU, not only from a theoretical point of view, but also by setting up pilot assemblies that will make it possible to formulate relevant legal and political recommendations in the field of citizen participation.

The elections for the European Parliament 2024 was held between 6 and 9 June, with Volt being one of the parties eligible for representation in the European Parliament.
