Establishing the relationship between Science and Policy

On 6 November, the workshop Challenges and Opportunities in Bridging Science and Policy/Policymaking - an Identity and Culture Perspectives was held at Colégio da Trindade.

This workshop drew on research and practice to create a platform for exploring and advancing our understanding of the intersection between science and policy making. With "identity & culture" as the heart of discourse, the program aimed to uncover both challenges and potential opportunities to enhance policy impact in diverse societal contexts. With a broad spectrum of experts from the Organization for Identity and Cultural Development (OICD) and the University of Coimbra Institute for Legal Research (UCILeR), the workshop generated insight into the role of identity factors in impactful policy formation.
