ECI Project from A to Z concludes first cycle of activities

With the conclusion of Model ECI in Vigo this Saturday, the first year of the ECI: From A to Z project came to an end. Participants in the project presented their proposals for citizen initiatives with a series of practical, well thought out and achievable solutions to real problems.

This activity was the first to be conducted face-to-face with the students. Before participating in Model ECI, the students took part in the online course and by a collective monitoring and work with tutors from the universities. During the week, the participants still worked together on their proposal, before the simulation of the Model ECI process, which included presentation to the European Parliament and consideration by the Commission.

The students were working in groups with representatives from all the project's partners and were accompanied by tutors from the partner universities. The project counts with the University of Coimbra, through the UCILeR and the Distance Learning Unit, University of Vigo, University of Göttingen and Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Iași University.
