Coimbra hosts International Workshop on Innovations in Corporate Governance

On 8 July, Coimbra hosted the International Workshop on Corporate Governance Discoveries and Innovations. This event brought together experts from different continents to discuss the latest research and innovations in corporate governance.

The Workshop addressed corporate issues such as the governance of public pension funds, fiduciary principles, and the primacy of beneficiaries. The extraterritorial implications of the new European Sustainability Directive, the regulation of ESG information, and its implications for insider trading in the United States were also discussed.
