Last week, from October 11th to 15th, the University of Göttingen hosted the second ECI Model, 2022 in the context of the Erasmus + project "ECI: From A to Z". Students from the Universities of Coimbra, Lasi, Vigo and Göttingen participated in a simulation of the submission process of a European Citizens’ Initiative, the public hearing with the European Parliament, and the meeting with the European Commission. This event was part of the Erasmus Days.

"ECl: From A to Z” aims to contribute to the development of EU-related hard competences and soft skills in higher education systems. The core purpose of the project is to experiment new methods and tools for learning processes that are to be applied in a collaborative and practical way (learning by doing) in which students co-construct create and launch their own European Citizens’ initiative.

The University of Coimbra's team for the Project is led by the University of Coimbra Institute for Legal Research in partnership with UC_D | Distance Learning Unit of the University of Coimbra, the Projects and Activities Division, and the participation of tutors from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra.
