JORGE SEABRA
He participed in the student movement of 1969 and was a member of the board of the Coimbra Academic Association in 1970-71. After being arrested and tortured by Pide in Caxias, he was tried at the Porto Plenary Court in 1972. He was the founder and leader of the Centre Zone Doctors' Union. President of the Portuguese Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (SPOT) in 2007. Founder of the Portuguese Language Orthopaedic Society (SOLP), he served as president from 2012 to 2013.
