A team from the Geosciences Center led by Maria Helena Henriques was selected for the short list of finalists for the Ocean Award of the Mirpuri Foundation with the project “Storytelling the long life of an old sea: the Aspiring Atlantic Geopark”.
The Mirpuri Foundation's Ocean Award is created with the aim of distinguishing excellence in the scientific community and rewarding the most innovative projects created to positively impact the health of our oceans.
The award ceremony will take place during the Cascais stopover of the famous The Ocean Race Europe regatta on June 5t
