XI Cell culture and tissue training course - Beyond the microscope, culturing life!
In view of the constant demand over the years, we present the 11th edition of the "Cell culture and tissue training course - Beyond Microscope, Culturing Life!" course, a Specialization Course in Cell and Tissue Culture (5 ECTS) of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra, coordinated by Professors Maria Filomena Botelho and Ana Margarida Abrantes.
This course, aimed at students (any cycle of studies), researchers or other professionals, is an important tool for acquiring or improving skills in cell and tissue culture, as well as to explore new experimental approaches applied to biomedical sciences.
The program outlined combines theoretical and practical sessions, divided into two curricular units. Thus, there is the flexibility to take the full theoretical-practical course course (5 ECTS) or just the theoretical component as a stand-alone course (2 ECTS).
The hybrid format of the course, taking place during the month of July 2024, combines remote theoretical sessions with the thrill of practical experience in the laboratory:
- Theoretical Sessions (remote): July 12 and 19, full days
- Practical Sessions (face-to-face): 3 consecutive full days, flexible between July 15th and 31st
