Study visit to the Iberian Pyrite Belt

Visit carried out on October 29 and 30, with scientific support from LNEG – Aljustrel and logistical support from Aljustrel City Council.

Field trip to the Iberian Pyrite Belt within the disciplines of Metallic Mineral Resources, Geochemistry and Tectonics, of the Degree in Geology, Environmental Impact Assessment of the Master's in Geosciences and Ore Treatment I of the Master's in Geological and Mining Engineering.

The former Lousal mine, the gallery on the 30th floor of the Aljustrel Mine (Algares), the former Sº Domingos Mine and the Pulo do Lobo Canyon were visited.
