Next Friday, April 16th at 10:00 am, the event "GeoXplora - 1st Edition of Combating Geological Abandonment" will take place.

GeoXplora aims to promote the development of Geology in Portugal, by raising awareness of a problem that has been going on for several years. This will be an opportunity to contribute to the development of Geology in Portugal, both in terms of sustainability and entrepreneurship and the communication of scientific topics to society.

The objective of this first edition is the promotion of the Geological Heritage that is in degradation, starting from the cases of Carenque and Cabo Mondego.
