A course was held at the DCV that addressed current issues of Freshwater Ecology

The Advances in Freshwater Ecology course, organized by the Freshwater Ecology MARE UC group, and with the collaboration of the DCV, had 12 MARE instructors who spoke about biological invasions, ecological integrity and ecosystem services, hydromorphology, longitudinal and lateral connectivity and river rehabilitation , molecular approaches in biomonitoring and biodiversity, traits and meta-analysis. The event took place at Colégio de S. Bento but included field trips that added value to the course.
