Monitoring the satisfaction of users of the Island Health Units of the Autonomous Region of the Azores

The Regional Health Directorate of the Regional Government of the Azores and CEISUC will monitor the users' satisfaction of the Island Health Units of the Autonomous Region of the Azores.

As a result of the Cooperation Protocol established between the Regional Health Directorate of the Regional Government of the Azores and the Center for Health Studies and Research of the University of Coimbra, a study will be carried out with the objective of monitoring the satisfaction of users of the nine Island Health Units of the Autonomous Region of the Azores with the care provided there. The aim is to measure various aspects of user satisfaction with the services provided.

Users of each Health Center will be invited to access computers or tablets of each unit and answer the satisfaction questionnaire. The application of the questionnaires should start during September of 2023 and the presentation of the results of the study will take place at the end of the same year.

In total, 17 Health Centers will be analyzed and, at least, 760 responses are expected to be collected.
