With approval and funding from the Comissão de Coordenação e Desenvolvimento Regional do Centro (CCDRC), a pilot project for the development of a strategy and a regional network for Genomic Medicine, also known as Personalized/Precision Medicine, is underway in the Central Region. The Project started on July 1, 2021 and ends on June 30, 2023. It involves a financial amount of about 1.2 million euros. The coordinating entity is the University of Coimbra.
