The Medical-Surgical Journal

The latest issue (July-September) of The Medical-Surgical Journal, of the Romanian Society of Physicians and Naturalists has just been published. This issue is entirely dedicated to the 48th Congress of the International Society for The History of Medicine (Iași – Romania, 15-18 September 2022). CEIS20 researchers Ana Leonor Pereira, João Rui Pita, Maria Guilherme Semedo and Catarina Paiva attended the launch and presented the papers “Francisco Tavares (1750-1812) – hydrologist and author of the first portuguese official pharmacopoeia” and “Brief history of cannabis in Portugal (16th-21st centuries)”, the abstracts of which have now been published.
