Results of the 4th edition of “Promotion of Scientific Culture 2024”
CEIS20 researchers take part in the winning projects
The University of Coimbra, through the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research, has launched another edition of the “Promotion of Scientific Culture” initiative. The 4th edition 2024 provides financial support to science communication activities of an interdisciplinary scientific and cultural nature that disseminate the knowledge produced at the University of Coimbra to diverse audiences.
The “Promotion of Scientific Culture” initiative provides financial support for up to 10 activities/initiatives that promote dialogue between science and culture and disseminate the knowledge produced at the UC to a non-academic/scientific public.
Among the winning projects were “Talk-Show: Stem Cells Rock!” with the participation of Silvio Santos, an integrated researcher of CEIS20, and “Mitabolismo: um jogo de tabuleiro para desmistificar o metabolismo” (Mitabolismo: a board game to debunk metabolism) with the participation of Nuno Coelho, also an integrated researcher of CEIS20.
