New Book “From Rome to Portugal from Empire to Kingdom : a 1500-year journey through the region of Coimbra”

From Rome to Portugal from Empire to Kingdom : a 1500-year journey through the region of Coimbra is a work coordinated by professors Pedro Carvalho (integrated researcher at CEIS20) and Luísa Trindade from FLUC. The result of 18 months of work by a multidisciplinary team, including several PhD students from FLUC, the book examines the vast and unknown material and immaterial heritage of the Coimbra region, from the Roman Empire to the birth of the Kingdom of Portugal.
Funded by the Intermunicipal Community of the Coimbra Region, the study seeks to identify, protect and touristically value this heritage and is available in bilingual format.
