José Oliveira Martins, the Scientific Coordinator of CEIS20, was interviewed for the “Conversas na Biblioteca” (Conversations in the Library) section of FLUC’s Magazine Vive as Letras!
In an informal setting, José Oliveira Martins discusses various topics ranging from the Song Festival to Intervention Music, including reflections on musical research in the 20th and 21st centuries (and its interdisciplinarity) and on the "difficulty of listening" today. He also talks about musicians and writers Bartók, Eduardo Lourenço and Gonçalo M. Tavares.
