Lisbon Academy of Sciences - Júlio Fogaça Prize

Established by the Lisbon Academy of Sciences in accordance with the will of Júlio de Melo Fogaça, this prize rewards an essay written in Portuguese on a subject related to Portuguese history, in any field of historiography.
The Júlio Fogaça Prize is worth 7,500 euros and the jury may decide not to award it to a participant if the work submitted does not justify it.
Academic work resulting from master’s or doctoral theses is not eligible for the competition.
