Lisbon Academy of Sciences | 2 PhD Research Fellowships

The Lisbon Academy of Sciences (ACL) is offering two PhD Research Fellowships until 15 September 2022 in the scientific fields aligned with the research lines of the ACL, according to the FCT Research Fellowship Regulations (RBI) and the Research Fellowship Statute (EBI). The fellowships will be funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) in accordance with the Collaboration Protocol for the Funding of the Multi-Annual Research Fellowships Plan for PhD Students signed between the FCT and the Lisbon Academy of Sciences.

The purpose of the protocol is to fund research and R&D work within the research lines of the Lisbon Academy of Sciences, with the aim of carrying out work leading to a doctorate in Portuguese universities.

The research work will be carried out in close collaboration between the ACL and national R&D units.

Fellowships are awarded on an annual basis and are renewable up to a maximum of four years (48 months); no fellowship may be awarded for a period of less than three consecutive months.
