Bipolar disorder: The Other Side of the Picture

“Doença Bipolar: Um Outro Lado” (Bipolar Disorder: The Other Side of the Picture) is one of the winning CEIS20 projects of the iiiUC Support for the Promotion of Scientific Culture, proposed by researcher Mário Montenegro (Marionet), in partnership with the CNC, CIBB and CEIS20. The project was developed as part of the “Laboratório do Desconhecimento” (Laboratory of Ignorance), a research and creation initiative that aims to address scientific challenges with a an interdisciplinary team of scientists and artists.

“Doença Bipolar: Um Outro Lado” is presented to the public in this video produced by Tiago Cerveira and directed by Mário Montenegro, with Ana Catarina Pereira and Cláudia Fragão Pereira, researchers from the CNC, as scientific advisors and interpreters, and psychiatrists from CHUC – Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra, EPE., Nuno Madeira and Tiago Santos. The music was composed by Marcelo Dos Reis and produced by the Marionet and CNC teams.
