7th Annual Meeting of Political Economy

Call for Papers until september 29th

The 7th Annual Political Economy Meeting will be held at ISEG – Lisbon in January 2024, marking the 50th anniversary of the 25 April 1974 Revolution. The call for papers is open until the 29th of this month. CEIS20 integrated researcher António Rafael Amaro (Group 1 – History, Memory, Public Policies) is a member of the Scientific Committee.

The Portuguese Association of Political Economy (EcPol) announces its call for papers for the 7th Annual Political Economy Meeting, to be held at ISEG, Lisbon, on 25-27 January 2024, on the theme “Political Economy and Democracy: Reimagining the World in the 50th Anniversary of the 25th April Revolution”.

The aim of the meeting is to bring together all those who, from a variety of disciplinary fields and approaches, understand economic phenomena as being eminently shaped by social, political, legal, cultural, technological and environmental factors, to be analysed in their institutional, historical and geographical contexts.

The meeting will start on 25 January 2024 with the EcPol Winter School, and will feature guest experts who will stimulate the discussion on doctoral projects presented by students.
