The CEIS20 Library aims to be a space dedicated to supporting interdisciplinary research in the fields of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts, among other scientific areas.

Integrated into the University of Coimbra Libraries Catalog (SIIB/UC - Integrated Bibliographic Information System of the University of Coimbra), the CEIS20 Library Catalog consists of about 4500 volumes of monographs, theses, dissertations, and research reports, and about 25 titles of periodical publications received through exchanges with national and international institutions.

CEIS20 also includes the Seabra Dinis Library, which consists of the bibliographic and documentary collection donated by the family of Joaquim Seabra Dinis, a psychiatrist and writer.

Joaquim Seabra-Dinis (Sangalhos, 1914-Lisbon, 1996) graduated in Medicine from the University of Coimbra. In the early 1940s, he moved to Lisbon and practiced at the Miguel Bombarda Hospital, Civil Hospitals, and the Júlio de Matos Hospital since its inauguration in 1942. In this hospital, he developed intense scientific, clinical, and administrative activities, thus significantly influencing Portuguese psychiatry in the mid-20th century. He undertook several internships abroad at renowned research centers, participated in numerous national and international scientific meetings, taught various free courses, and left behind a significant written legacy.
