EMCITY 2022 – New approaches to Early Medieval Cities in the Northwest of the Iberian Peninsula

This scientific meeting aims to promote the exchange of results and international debate from different disciplinary and methodological approaches to medieval urban contexts.

Organised by the IEM - FCSH-UNL, this congress is being held in collaboration with the City Council of Idanha-a-Nova and CEIS20.

These talks and debates will take place at the Raiano Cultural Centre in Idanha-a-Nova. A visit to the historic village of Idanha-a-Velha accompanied by the CEIS20 IGAEDIS research project team is also planned.
