In the year of the 50th anniversary of the April 74 Revolution, the FLUC Centre for Portuguese Literature and CEIS20 are organising the Colloquium “Narratives of the Revolution”.

On 2 and 3 May, writers and researchers in literature and communication will discuss the narratives of the Carnation Revolution. The opening lecture will be given by Carlos Reis, professor emeritus at FLUC, and the closing lecture by Carla Baptista, professor at FCSH. On 3 May, at 2pm, a round table moderated by Cristina Robalo Cordeiro and Clara Almeida Santos will bring together the writers Dulce Maria Cardoso and Almeida Faria, as well as Vasco Gonçalves, the "Captain of April".
