The 7th Annual Meeting of Political Economy will take place in January 2024 at ISEG – Lisbon, marking the 50th anniversary of the Revolution of April 25, 1974. The call for communications is running until the 29th of this month. CEIS20 integrated researcher António Rafael Amaro (Group 1 – History, Memory, Public Policies) is part of its Scientific Committee.

The Portuguese Association of Political Economy (EcPol) announces the call for papers for the 7th Annual Meeting of Political Economy to take place at ISEG, Lisbon, on January 25th to 27th, 2024, with the theme Political Economy and Democracy: Reimagining the world in the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April.

The Meeting aims to bring together all those who, from the most diverse disciplinary areas and approaches, understand economic phenomena as being eminently shaped by social, political, legal, cultural, technological and ecological factors and should be studied in the their institutional, historical and geographic contexts.

The Meeting begins on January 25, 2024, with the EcPol Winter School, and will feature the participation of invited experts who will stimulate the discussion of PhD projects presented by students.
