Carmen Soares

Full Professor at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra (FLUC). She serves as the director of the PhD programme Food Heritage: Cultures and Identities at FLUC, as Scientific Coordinator of the Centre for Classical and Humanistic Studies (CECH) at FLUC, and as President of the Scientific Council of the European Institute for the History and Cultures of Food in Tours, France.

Inês de Ornellas e Castro

Assistant Professor at the FCSH of Universidade Nova de Lisboa and Visiting Assistant Professor at Nova Medical School. She serves as an integrated researcher at the Institute for the Study of Literature and Tradition, and integrates the co-ordination and research team of the transnational Luso-Brazilian project DIAITA: Lusophone Food Heritage.

Maria Helena da Cruz Coelho

Retired Professor at FLUC. Researcher at the Centre for the History of Society and Culture at FLUC. President of the Portuguese Society for Medieval Studies. Vice-President of the Portuguese Academy of History. Researcher on the Luso-Brazilian project DIAITA: Lusophone Food Heritage.

Martinho Tomé Soares

He holds a degree in Classical and Portuguese Languages and Literatures from the University of Coimbra, where he also earned his master's and PhD in Poetics and Hermeneutics. His scholarly work spans classical and Portuguese literature and cultures, philosophy, and history. Researcher at the Centre for Lusophone and European Literatures and Cultures at the University of Lisbon (CLEPUL) and at the Centre for Classical and Humanistic Studies at the University of Coimbra (CECH).

Nelson Henrique da Silva Ferreira

Postdoctoral researcher at University of Coimbra. His scholarly work spans Open Science Infrastructures, folk culture in the Mesopotamian and Mediterranean regions, languages and social history, and ancient thought. Recently, his research scope has expanded to the anthropological impact of economic dependence of agricultural production in Sumerian and Roman cultures, and the history of science.

Paula Barata Dias

Assistant Professor at FLUC. Researcher at the Centre for Classical and Humanistic Studies at the University of Coimbra (CECH). She is involved in the transnational Luso-Brazilian project DIAITA: Lusophone Food Heritage. She serves as Deputy Director of the master's programme in Food: Sources, Culture and Society and as Director of the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at FLUC.

Carlos Baptista

He holds a master's degree in Food: Sources, Culture and Societies and is currently pursuing a PhD in Food Heritage: Cultures and Identities at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra (FLUC). As part of his interest in food, heritage, culture, and territory, he has completed courses in the Anthropology of Food and Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Eulália Marques

She holds a degree in Classical Studies from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra (FLUC) and Design from the University of Madeira (UMa). She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Portuguese Teaching in the 3rd cycle of primary school and secondary school and Latin Teaching in secondary school. She actively participates in Ludi Conimbringenses and serves on the secretariat of the current FESTEA board. Her expertise in graphic design plays a crucial role in promoting both organisations, as well as the Thíasos Cultural Association.

Lara Longobardi Aguiar Ramos

She holds a master's degree in Food: Sources, Culture and Society from the University of Coimbra, as well as a BA in Nutrition from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Food Heritage: Cultures and Identities at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra (FLUC).

Maira Loureiro Polatto

She holds a BA in Gastronomy from the Estácio College in Florianopolis - Brazil. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Food: Sources, Culture and Society and a PhD in Food Heritage: Cultures and Identities at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra (FLUC).

Maria Olímpia Fernandes Especiosa

She is currently pursuing a PhD in Classical Studies - Poetics and Hermeneutics and has been awarded a scholarship by the European Operas Plus Project. She holds a degree in Classical Studies from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra (FLUC) and a master’s degree in Education from the same institution. She has experience as a teacher and her research scope focuses on ancient Greek culture.

Patrícia de Gomensoro Malheiros

She holds a master’s degree in Social Anthropology from the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. She also attained a BA in Social Communication from the School of Communication at the same institution. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Food Heritage: Cultures and Identities at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra (FLUC).
